Elder Family Twilight Zone 16 October 2016

So most likely I would have photographed the new Elder baby just after she was born but that weekend happened to fall on my annual trek to Indianapolis which made seeing this familiar family as a foursome like being in the Twilight Zone! I didn't see Mom when she was pregnant and she looks exactly the same as she did before getting knocked up again so for me, this was instant. Little Natalie doesn't have a ton of personality just yet, she's thoughtful I suspect, just checking things out. Her big brother Noah though has always been one of my most favorite kids to photograph and this year tops them all. Apparently Noah, last year, had a raging fever that we didn't realize until later and boy what a difference health makes. This year, from the get go, when I suggested that Noah had stolen the baby's shoe he thought I was the funniest person alive and I likewise thought that of him so it was giggles all around. He is such a great big brother...very gentle and loving. It's a pleasure photographing the Elder family but this year was especially great! I can't wait to see how baby Natalie evolves.
