Introducing Baby Marion 21 February 2016

Such a strong baby, in both body and mind. This little lady knows what she likes and isn't afraid to tell you you're doing it wrong! Seriously though, love this little growing family. No froofy bows and pink fluffy outfits here (which don't get me wrong can be cute but would be totally out of step with this family). They're so easygoing and down to earth. I love all the textures and color combos here...especially the unusual orange blankets and walls and the cloud-like puffy carpet. Her grandmother (hope I remember that right) is her namesake and the little bowling trophy that bears their shared name is adorable and so unique! Most all of the props, blankets and clothes have meaning and that makes all the difference in the world. Thanks for inviting me in to celebrate this milestone. Congratulations and Enjoy!

Carrie the Crusher 4 February 2016

Oh what a difference a year makes! If you look at these photos and don't giggle then your heart is made of stone, I just know it. Miss Carrie is getting so old so fast and I have just loved watching her change but would appreciate if she could do it a little slower. She loves reading books, especially when I make the sounds. She loves ambiance via the singing turtle. She love bunnies and she loves her family. This is just about the age that kids kill me with their cuteness and Carrie is the shining example of that. She make sighing noises and nummy nummy noises when eating and funny noises after she drinks. She walks and waddles and likes to touch everything and I think she looked like Godzilla in my mini studio set-up with cookies and toys being crushed under foot. I find this stage of life so much fun to witness! Watch out for this little lady cause she is a smart cookie. Thanks Mom for your tenderness, thanks Dad for your silliness and thanks all around for letting me start my day with some joy....
