The thing about family is that they will hug you even when you're a hot, sweaty mess. How do I know? Cause this family did it over and over again despite the heat. I love the textures and colors that photographing on a farm like this brings out. The weathered painted barns, the corrugated steel, the rich greens, yellows and reds and the warm evening light streaming through the trees. There was a lot of wrangling going on behind the scenes of this photo shoot, not just with the kiddos but the "adults" too. I had a great time running around with this gang. I think they made me laugh just as much as I made them laugh! I love the hot pink cheek kisses, I love the 2 year old meltdowns and I love getting to know all of you! I love this last photo. They look like little stock brokers making deals on their lunch break. So serious and intent.
