Taj & Nya's First Birthday Party 17 October 2009

These are preview photos from the first birthday party of twins Nya & Taj. They are adorable kids who handled being the center of attention and all the fun activities very well. Nya was much more dainty with her cake while Taj tore it up full force.

A Walk With Olapalani

I went for a walk on Lanikai beach with my friend and the dog she was babysitting-Olapalani. What a great dog. She just clearly enjoys life. I loved this photo of her and wanted to share it.

Addiction and its crew made it home safe and sound from TransPac 2009. These were taken the night of their welcome home bash which was outstanding!

Oahu At Night

Inspired by the full moon, I decided to try to photograph the moonrise off Makapu'u lighthouse. The cloud cover made that difficult and so I decided to do some night photographs of Makapu'u beach, the cities visible beyond that (Waimanalo, Kailua, Kaneohe MCBH) and the Mokes (as seen above). Then I wanted to try some photographs of Honolulu at night from a park with a perch in Kaimuki. These were the results:
