The Klinski Family 3 August 2014

She walked, she ran, she laughed, she cried. Addisyn, the freshly minted 1 year old, is such a spunky little lady who is so loved by everyone around her. She loves touching things and feeling them and putting them in her mouth. She loves to feel the ground under her feet and she loves being loved by her family. I had a great time running around after this little lady and her parents. I'm so glad I got the chance to photograph her the day after she was born and now a few weeks after her 1st birthday! Enjoy.

Introducing Baby G 30 July 2014

The G in the post title could easily stand for Gorgeous, but it doesn't. Never the less, gorgeous she is. Absolutely the most alert baby I have ever photographed this young, we could not get her to sleep. After seeing how these images came out, I have to say that a sleeping baby might be overrated. With such loving, playful and funny parents, I just know she is going to be the most graceful Doctor/Miss Universe (per her daddy's prediction) there ever was. Okay, maybe I'm getting a little bit gushy here, but seriously, I had a great time with this family. I hope I get to see them down the road. Thank you for letting me in to your home and your lives for one evening.

8 Years Coming...Jeanna and Jake Engagement! 18 July 2014

It took them 8 years to make it official, but Jake popped the question and Jeanna said Yes. We ran out to the walking trail behind Gundersen to snap a couple quick pics of the newly engaged couple and the new star in the relationship...the gorgeous ring that Jake designed himself. I love their sassy attitude and the way they genuinely enjoy each other. Enjoy and congratulations you guys!

 

The Elders 30 November 2013

The weather this time of year could not have been any more perfect for this family. It was sunny with no snow on the ground and the wind was very mild! A good omen for sure. I am so in love with little Noah, he is just the cutest little kid who loves cakes....patty cakes that is. This whole family just looked like they stepped right out of a magazine. Every time I asked them to change into a new position it was like they had done it a hundred times before. So comfortable and casual together. I really enjoyed photographing these guys and I hope you enjoy these preview photos from their session.

The D Family Three-peat 27 September 2013

For the third year in a row I got to photograph this family and I am just tickled about that! So much fun to see how the kids are growing up! This whole family could easily be in a catalog for clothes. I had a really great time with them and really enjoyed shooting in this new location we discovered. When I went to scout the location there was a giant piece of railroad equipment that was casting some awkward shadows on this building but happily, it was moved by the time we went to do our photo shoot. Crisis averted. The first photo cracks me up cause that little man was a little cranky to start out but when we got to this set-up he suddenly just put one hand in his pocket, the other up on the post and then crossed his feet and smiled. It was hilarious, like suddenly a switch flipped and he was totally into the modeling thing. Enjoy!
