The Bride Wore Blue Toms...Amanda and Kevin Wedding 19 October 2013

...and the Groom Wore Orange Striped Socks! I don't normally do wedding photography but when I do give in to friends requests, it is always a joyous experience. This couple could not be more friendly, generous, and beautiful both apart and even more together. There are hundreds and hundreds of photos but I have narrowed it down to this group as some of my favorites. I have to say that even the wedding party was great to work with. They were like a professional wedding party, willing to do whatever I asked and happy to do it! It was a simple, but elegant fall wedding full of fun!

Kaitlyn Babycakes Cake Smash 13 January 2013

I seriously tried to pare these down but it was extremely difficult, there were WAY too many cute ones. Kaitlyn is turning the big 1 as you may have guessed so we did a Babycakes cake smash session to celebrate. At first, she had trouble believing that we wanted her to dive in to the giant cupcake in front of her with reckless abandon. Once she got a taste though, she was totally in to the whole thing. She had fists full of cake and frosting from her eyelashes to her toes. Kaitlyn thought it would be especially fun to get her feet involved in the fun as well. We even got her to stand up for a couple and she was very proud of herself! Happy 1st Birthday Kaitlyn, I've enjoyed watching your first year of life.

 

The Stemper Family 21 October 2012

The boys in this family are going to grow up to be girl charmers for sure. How do I know? Cause I fell for them right off. From what I could tell, they really enjoy being brothers but that may have all just been an act! Such a cute family and really easy to photograph. The weather could not have been better either! It was 70+ degrees in October. The last of the good fall colors on the last freakishly warm day of the year. Enjoy!

Engagement: Amanda & Kevin 6 October 2012

A couple of preview photos from Amanda & Kevin's engagement photo session this weekend. Great couple. Loving, snuggly, willing to do anything I asked including laying down in leaves and getting lost in the corn. I hope they had as much fun as I did during this session! Congratulations!

 

The D Family 30 September 2012

I photographed this family last year as well so it was fun to see how the kids have grown. We went to Red Cloud Park behind the Old La Crosse Shoe Factory. They're such a cute group and mom is a photographer too so it's hard to get a bad shot of them. It was my first time at this park and wow was it neat. Overgrown areas, beautiful brush and lots of space to run around. A couple of my favorites below.

 

 

 

The Earl Family 23 September 2012

The Earl family all met up in Baraboo, Wisconsin for a family photo shoot. For those who don't know Baraboo is the original home of the Ringling Brothers Circus! It's a really cute town and Grandpa Earl gave me the complete tour which I loved. He used to be a ranger at Devil's Lake in the summer time so we also toured around there a while. Beautiful place with all kinds of different looking locations. They fed me amazing meatloaf and did everything I asked. Thanks for a great time Earl family!
